Mariners Reformed Baptist Church is engaged in various outreach ministries to the immediate area, as well as across the United States, and around the world. These include:
The Mariners Log - A “Social and Cultural Commentary from a Biblical Worldview.” The Log is sent out monthly (usually) to about thirty-six states, and three foreign countries. If you would like to be added to our mailing list, send us your name and address by phone, mail, or email, and you’ll begin receiving the Mariners Log each month.
The Mariners Press - This is the literature outreach of our church, where
we reprint Puritan documents, as well as material from contemporary writers who
grant us permission, and we distribute these, free of charge, postage paid, to
all who make a request.
The Mariners Pulpit - We distribute, free of charge, postage paid, CD copies of sermons preached at Mariners, as well as sermons from various other sources. For a sampling of these sermons, check our “Sermon” page.
Bible Conferences - Mariners hosts two Bible Conferences per year. One in
October called a "Day in the Word", and one in April, "The Gospel in Shoe
Leather." Please check out our Special Events
page for information on the upcoming conference.
Various Benevolences - The church supports the work of the Persecution Project, managed by Brad Phillips. This is an outreach into the Sudan, brining needed food and medical supplies to the persecuted Christians of the region. The church also
engages in benevolent outreach to needy folk in the Coos Bay/North Bend area, as
the Lord leads.
